Carolyn Kenton

Carolyn Kenton began her bowling journey in Yerington in the early 1960s, and from the very start, she brought others along for the ride. A true ambassador for the sport, Carolyn was always encouraging siblings and family members to get involved, helping to grow the local bowling community one bowler at a time.

Carolyn’s impact goes beyond the lanes—she was a founding member of the Mixed Indian Bowling League, which lives on today as the Roadrunners League. Her efforts laid the foundation for a league built on community, culture, and shared passion for bowling.

Thank you, Carolyn, for your pioneering spirit and for the lasting contributions you’ve made to bowling in Yerington and beyond!
